Ani graduated from Central Saint Martins, University of Arts London in Fashion design. She has work experiences with Vivienne Westwood and Alexander McQueen fashion studios in London.
During her studies in London, her work was featured in books such as: 100 days of Active Resistance by Vivienne Westwood and New Fashion Designers’ Sketchbooks by Zarida Zaman.
She found her passion in Floral design and pursued the DFA (Dutch Floral Arrangement) Certificate in Professional Florist Practice in 2016.
For the previous 8 years, Ani has worked and trained as a florist at retail flower shops and 5-star hotel flower studio in Hong Kong, also with independent floral designer Paula Pryke back in London.
Apart from Western Floral design, she started her journey in Sogetsu Ikebana (The Art of Japanese flower arrangement) and became a certified Ikebana teacher.
Between 2020 and 2021, four of Ani’s Ikebana flower arrangements have been selected as semi-finalists and finalists for the Ikebana Gallery Award.
In 2022, she has collaborated with London independent designer brands for the London and Paris Fashion Week, including flower installation for the photoshoot and flower arrangements for the show.
Back in Hong Kong in 2023, she has collaborated with Art exhibitions to interact with Floral design. Also working on Shop displays, installations and floral arrangements for Hong Kong local designer brands.
Merging her Fashion design background with Floral design, Ani keeps seeking for the balance between the nature beauty & the man-made unconventional products in an innovative modern way inspired by Sogetsu Ikebana with her own style.
Ani is currently based in Hong Kong, working across flower arrangement, shop display & installations, photoshoot set design, collaborate with fashion and different product brands & shops, Art exhibitions, and any kinds of floral related work.
